NAIROBI, Kenya — Blankets and Wine, the beloved outdoor music festival that has become a cornerstone of Nairobi's cultural calendar, has unveiled the full lineup for its March 2026 edition at the Ngong Racecourse — and it promises to be the biggest yet.
Headlining the event will be afropop superstars Sauti Sol, whose reunion performance will mark their first Nairobi show in three years. They will be joined by Nviiri the Storyteller, Nadia Mukami, and Kenyan fusion band Muthoni Drummer Queen, alongside international acts including South Africa's Tyla and Nigerian singer Rema.
The festival, which has been running since 2008, draws crowds of up to 15,000 people for its signature atmosphere of live music, food, craft markets, and creative performances. This year's edition will run across two days — March 14 and 15 — for the first time in the event's history.
"Blankets and Wine is not just a concert — it's a cultural institution. We are incredibly proud of what this event represents for Nairobi's creative community."
— Muthoni Ndonga, Festival Director
